I heard you leaving as clear as any word you said. I stood in the cold and talked myself back down. I was laughing at myself, "If not me, then I guess, somebody else." But, who's going to stick around? Thanks for stopping by, come back any time. Ways to break I know them. Wide open, wide and red. Half my weight is showing, half knowing what's ahead. My brother's baby, they lost him in the winter. We stood in the snow just outside of town. Watching from the back. I saw him shake, heard his voice crack. And they laid him in the ground just a few feet down. Ways to break, we know them. Nights frozen, awake in bed. Half the weight and growing, still going in my head.

Lets count again to nine, then maybe all of those flags you fly will come back down. I can't find my balance, I keep sliding down. Drink it up, can't keep it down. Can I keep you around? Single number two is here!
Ways to Break came to me very quickly while meditating on the past few years in my life. If I've found any true path to some semblance of happiness, it's been through the ability to work through my thoughts and feelings in music.
Mushbrain is an older jam we wrote while trying to get a bit more loose and channel some of the recklessness of my 30th birthday weekend. It was weird.
